Visiting a Fairy Tale

On November 18, the first-year students’ holiday “Hello, we are looking for talents” with the thematic name “Visiting a Fairy Tale” was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.
The whole university gathered for the event including students and teachers of all institutes, faculties, colleges; military students. On the stage there is a forest glade with fairytale characters: fox, hare, Fairy Tale, Malvina, Pinocchio, Little Red Riding Hood and an interesting character – Baba Yaga, who captured captive fairy-tale characters, as a result of which fairy tales disappeared in books.
“Cinderella” (1 SO), “Little Red Riding Hood” (1 PO), “Bremen Town Musicians” (1 P), “Snow Queen” (1 K), “Shrek” (3 (1) PO) “Pinocchio” (1 SR SP PP) went to search for fairy-tale heroes. Each group presented significant moments of their life and study at the Institute.
Famous and vivid plots of fairy tales performed by students of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology unfold on the stage in front of the audience. The audience supported and applauded the performers.
The culmination of the event was the traditional student initiation ceremony. The leaders of the groups were invited to the stage in order to solemnly pronounce the oath. The entire team of students of the IPP supported freshmen and lit lights. The leader of the specialty “Primary Education” L. Astanina read the oath, which the hall repeated three times.
Senior students prepared posters, slogans to support the contestants.
The host of the event noted that students are the vanguard of youth, and they have the mission to be worthy of their ancestors, to preserve the freedom and independence of Ukraine, to respect their people and their melodic language.
At the end of the event, the final song “University” was performed by all participants in the event. Chairman of the Academic Council of the University Vittalii Kurilo, Director of the IPP Olena Karaman, Deputy Directors of the IPP Vira Pushko, O. Tsalapova congratulated freshmen on initiation into students and wished them success in their studies, personal and professional life. All groups received gifts.
Freshmen and guests took the final photo as a keepsake.
