Spartakiad continues

Chess and checkers competitions were held at the Institute of Physical Education and Sports within the framework of the 3rd Spartakiad of the Institute.

In total, 30 students participated in the competitions. 20 persons played checkers and 10 persons played chess. 

During a fierce struggle, in chess competitions, I place was taken by Artem Kniagnytskyi, 3rd year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Physical Education”, II place was taken by Dmytro Kashkarov, 1st year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Physical Education”; III place was taken by Oleh Neiman, 2nd year student majoring in “Physical Therapy, Hergotherapy”.

In the checkers tournament places were distributed as follows:

• I place – Vitalii Kondratenko, 4th year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports;
• II place – Ivan Akimov, 1st year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports”;
• III place – Igor Khmelik, 2nd year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Physical Education”.

According to the results of the competitions, the Director the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Yurii Poluliashchenko awarded the winners with medals and diplomas as well as sweet prizes.

According to the schedule of the Spartakiad the next type of competitions is a darts competition.
