Training courses for teachers

The final events of the training courses “Designing a STEAM flipped classroom” for teachers of schools in the Luhansk region took place as part of the MoPED project.
Head of the Department of Information Technologies and Systems Mykola Semenov conducted summarizing classes “Designing a STEAM flipped classroom” within the framework of the project “Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education on the Use of Innovative Teaching Tools” (MoPED) of the EU Erasmus + KA2 Program – Development of Higher Education Potential, No. 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA- EPPKA2-CBHE-JP.
Trainings were held in three study groups. The first one was held on the basis of the Severodonetsk Humanitarian and Aesthetic Gymnasium of the Severodonetsk City Council of the Luhansk regio, the second – on the basis of the Rubizhne Secondary School No. 9 and the third – on the basis of the Kreminna Secondary School of I-III levels No. 2 of Kreminna District Council of the Luhansk region.
They started back in April 2019 with the training “Development of Digital Content for an Inverted Lesson” with the topic “Entering Inverted Training”, “Development of Digital Content”. Also, all participants were registered in the Moodle system and provided advice on the basics of working with it. Further, classes continued in remote form, teachers studied the topics of the training, and completed tasks.
The trainings finished with the presentation of the participants’ projects evaluated by Mykola Semenov. At the end of the training, teachers received certificates of completion of the trainings.
The MoPED academic group is confident that new knowledge will help to modernize the educational process in the schools of the region.
