«Strength of Mind»

The spartakiad among the disabled workers “Strength of Mind” was held on Luhanshchyna.

The Administration of Executive Management of Social Insurance Fund against Industrial Accidents and Occupational Diseases of Ukraine in Luhansk Region in cooperation with Regional Sports Society “Spartak” conducted regional competitions of III All-Ukrainian Spartakiad among Disabled Workers “Strength of Mind” on August 6, 2015 at sports complex “Olimp”.

The spartakiad participants were congratulated by the Chairman of Regional Organisation “Spartak”, the Director of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports of LNU Yurii Poluliashchenko, the Acting Chairman of Luhansk Regional Civil-Military Administration Olha Lishyk, the Chairman of Organising Committee of Regional Competitions, Acting Head of Administration of Executive Management of Social Insurance Fund against Industrial Accidents and Occupational Diseases Natalia Mashko.

The spartakiad was aimed at the improving physical and rehabilitation work among casualties by industrial accidents and occupational diseases. This year the sports competitions has been participated in by the teams from Lysychansk, Rubizhne, Sievierodonetsk, Starobilsk and Kreminna District.

After the opening ceremony the teams started the competitive part. With the strength of mind natural to them, they were fighting for the right of being the best in different kinds of sports. The jury was consisted of the teachers from the Institute of Physical Education and Sports of Luhansk National University.

The participants could explore armwrestling, bombasket, kettlebell sport, darts, table tennis and chess. The winners will be included to the regional team which will take part in the All-Ukrainian Spartakiad in Uzhhorod.
