Animation film workshop

On October 24, students of the ER ICA attended the screening of the first animated film “Literary Film Lesson” – an adaptation of the anime tales by Vasyl Simonenko “Tsar Plaksii and Loskoton”.

The presentation of the animated series on the works of Ukrainian poets and writers, which are studied in the school curriculum on Ukrainian literature, and the master class of the film crew began at 12.40.

The cartoon “Tsar Plaksii and Loskoton” was created by Key Animation Studio (producers: Iryna Sakhaltueva and Viktor Andrienko; artistic director: Yevgen Sivokon; director: Andrian Sakhaltuev; sound design: Serhii Chegodaev; music: Yurii Zhuravel) with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine as part of programs of patriotic films.

After watching the cartoon, students had the opportunity to listen to insider information from film producer Iryna Sakhaltueva and film critic Oksana Voloshenyuk, which raised many questions regarding the processes of creating animated films, the features of the work of the animator in Ukraine and where you can learn this interesting and complex profession.

An hour and a half passed very quickly and at the end of the conversation students agreed that they would meet with Iryna Sakhaltueva and Oksana Voloshenyuk more than once. The most active students received as a gift books and editions, which can not be found in bookstores and online. It was ,”Journalism of Newspapers and Magazines” by Volker Wolff.
