Participation in the press lunch

Students and teachers of the Faculty of Natural Sciences took part in a press lunch.
The organizer of the press lunch “Innovative Education without Borders: Principles of 21st Century Education for Teachers and Schoolchildren from the East” was the NGO Open Policy Foundation with the support of the Lithuanian Embassy in Ukraine and the Program for the Development of Cooperation and Democracy Support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania.
Oleksandra Kononenko, third-year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Biology”, Ambassador of the International Green School, participated in organizing and conducting the event. Academic Affairs; Alina Latka, Deputy Dean for Social and Humanitarian Work; Natalia Korzhova, assistant of the Department of Biology and Agronomy; Olena Glushchenko, fourth-year student majoring in “Secondary education. Biology” also joined the press lunch via Skype.
The initiator of the invitation to the press lunch of students and teachers of the Faculty of Natural Sciences was Iryna Zhdanova, DG of the NGO Open Policy Foundation, head of the International Green School.
The main project supported by the Lithuanian Embassy is the work of the International Green School. For the second year in a row, teachers and students of our Faculty take part in the sessions of this school.
The result of the collaboration between the Faculty of Natural Sciences and the International Green School is the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the International Green School, the main content of which was discussed during the press lunch.
