Collecting Plastic is being Continued

Let’s support the All-Ukrainian campaign on collecting plastic bottles to produce prostheses for ATO soldiers!
The campaign has obtained a high response all over Ukraine. There is the everyday collection of plastic in every part of our country. The shops and supermarkets have been the first participants.
Today at LNU the collection is performed by those who work in summer – it is a time of vacations for university teachers and holidays for students. The workers of Admission Committee are among the best. They are actively supporting the campaign. We expect everyone to take part in the beginning of the academic year.
Important that the main goal of the campaign – collecting plastic for prosthesis – make people think about other significant problems as well. First of all, the world view and the attitude to the environment are being changed. Ecological problems are becoming more essential and their solution more urgent.

The whole civilized world has separate waste collection. We must recover ourselves and finally realize that our planet is not only for our generation. If we don’t stop on time our children will live in a big dust hole.
How much money lie under our feet! Because waste processing could bring funds for charity.
We are calling to everybody to look at the European experience. According to idea.te.ua website, Switzerland, Germany and Sweden have achieved the greatest success in solving global problem of waste sorting. In these countries people sort 80% of waste on their own. Waste is used as recycled resources in Japan, the USA, Italy, France, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium and Denmark.
Everyone should start with himself to make system work in our country. Teach your children to love and respect everything the nature gives us.
Look around! Maybe, there is a bottle under your feet. Bring it to LNU – let’s help our defenders and make our home cleaner!
