The Faculty of Foreign Languages continues to provide career guidance.
In the Stanichno-Luhansk region 3 schools have visited.
Meetings with students of 10-11 grades and with the school leaders were conducted by N.V. Fedicheva. In the course of vocational work, students learned about the opportunity to receive higher education in the specialties: Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Arabic, English, German, French, Spanish, languages and to study by order. Fedicheva NV noted that by studying foreign languages at Lugansk Taras Shevchenko National University, students expand the boundaries of their worldview, develop imaginative thinking and touch the world of Western Europe and the Middle and Far East.
University graduates work in educational institutions, trading companies, travel agencies, embassies, consulates and diplomatic missions.Fedicheva NV noted that in order to successfully master oriental oriental languages, students study the country’s culture, history, realities, customs and traditions. For example, in Japanese classes, students are introduced to cosplay, J-pop (Japanese popular music), J-rock (Japanese rock music), Visulkei (Vizhu-kay »genre of Japanese music). The students applauded upon hearing this information. They also learned that after the second year, students have the opportunity to take the Rekusiken exam and those who successfully passed the exam can apply for employment or internships in Japan.
The students were interested in information and asked questions about future employment, the availability of a hostel in Poltava, student’s life at the faculty, the opportunity to learn Korean, which is now very popular among young people, and many other questions. At the end of the meetings Fedicheva NV noted that she would send to all students who provided their e-mail addresses, important and useful information about Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
