Cross country running

Athletics cross country competitions were held at the Institute of Physical Education and Sports. 

Cross country running competitions have already become a tradition. This time the cross country running started the sports competitions of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports. In the picturesque Kreminna forest more than 100 participants gathered – students of all years and specialties. 

At the grand opening of the sporting event, the Director of the Institute, Yurii Poluliashenko, made a welcoming speech. He wished all the participants good health, success and victories.

According to the results, the best among the girls were: 1st place – Yulia Zhigailova (4th year, specialty “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports”), 2nd place – Olena Reva (2nd (4th) year, specialty “Secondary Education. Physical Education”), 3rd place – Anna Romanova (1st year, specialty “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports”.)

Among the young men, Oleksii Makarovets crossed the finish line first (2nd year, specialty “Secondary Education. Physical Education”), the second was Vadim Igumenov (1st year, specialty “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports”), Artem Kniagnytskyi took the 3rd place (3rd year, specialty “Secondary Education. Physical Culture”).
