Climate Strike

Students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences have joined the Global Climate Strike.
The climate of the planet is changing, and the cause of these changes is human. Thus, a wave of youth climate strikes #GlobalClimateStrike has been announced worldwide. The climate strike also took place in Ukraine. Young people inspired by Swedish schoolgirl Greta Thunberg, who began to protest in front of the Swedish Parliament one year ago.
Students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences decided to support the Global Climate Strike. For several days they worked on the production of thematic posters, the purpose of which was to draw public attention to one of the pressing problems of modern mankind – global climate change.
“Today the world has an extreme climate. Burning forests, rising sea levels and increasing natural disasters prove that we need to act immediately and decisively. That is why we joined this event,” – the chairman of the student self-government of the Faculty Olena Glushchenko said.
Three-year students of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism joined the action and together wth students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences showed their civic position regarding the environmental situation of our planet.
