Training sessions for teachers in the LSTNU

Training sessions for teachers of our university were carried out as part of the EU project Erasmus + “Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education by Innovative Teaching Instruments – MoPED” (No. 586098-EPP- 1- 2017-1- UA-EPPKA2- CBHE-JP).
As part of the EU project Erasmus + “Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education by Innovative Teaching Instruments – MoPED” (No. 586098-EPP- 1- 2017-1- UA-EPPKA2- CBHE-JP) training sessions for teachers of our university were carried out by leading teachers of such structural units as Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
The trainings had the following topics:
- “Critical Thinking” (what is critical thinking, peculiarities of organization of training to critical thinking, methods and techniques of development of critical thinking, educational discussion, reflection methods, structure of training session using the methods of critical thinking) coach Yurkiv Yaroslav (Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences);
- “Use of innovative teaching tools for improving the efficiency of the educational process in higher educational institutions of pedagogical education” coaches Matsai Natalia, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor, Gubska Olga, Senior Lecturer.
- «Implementation of STEAM-education in higher education institutions» coaches Oleg Vinogradov, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Guzhva Elena, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Senior Lecturer.
- “Use of digital tools in the educational process of ZVO” coaches Mogilyn Gennady, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor; Mykola Semenov, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor.
The main purpose of the trainings is to acquaint university teachers with the modern European educational practices of teaching, with the method of using innovative tools in the teaching process.
Representatives of different departments of the university were represented among the participants of the training, all of them showed interest in the topics of the training. Actively worked in groups, presented the developed projects, ideas on the use of digital technologies in the educational process.
At the end of the trainings, the participants provided their feedback on the innovativeness, relevance and value of the lessons, the overall impression of the possibility of establishing a collaborative work of teachers of different areas of research.
