Student self-government elections

The student self-government elections took place at the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences.
Self-government in higher education is one of the most important components of student self-organization and the involvement of future specialists in public life. Student self-government of the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences, on the one hand, is integrated with university-wide self-government structures, and on the other, has its own characteristics due to the unique atmosphere and culture of the institute. Thus, the SKIF Congress operates with its president and sectors in different directions.
In the election of SKIF this week, Sofia Nedbailo was elected president, who determined as her main goal the need to revive and strengthen volunteer campaigns on the basis of the Institute. Daria Cherevataia was elected to the postition of the vice-president. Roman Bordiug became the chairman of the student council of the hostel, and Evhenia Krikun was re-elected the chairman of the trade union orgranization for the second term.
During the meeting, sectors were formed for science, information, everyday life, as well as cultural-initiative and sports. As a result, almost every student got the opportunity to participation in some sphere of student life.
