The Participation in the Event “Profiland”

For the first time, students and teachers of the faculty of foreign languages took part in the regional festival of professions “Profiland”, which took place on September 14, 2019.

The main purpose of the event was to familiarize the population with the leading higher educational institutions of Poltava.

Students and teachers of all departments of the faculty of foreign languages involved in studyingforeign languages students of primary school age and high school students and talked with their parents. Kids, middle and high school students, future applicants – all were delighted with the wonderful atmosphere of learning English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish.

Thanks to the creativity of our 2nd year students, specialty “Philology. Language and literature (Chinese, English) ”by Babakhanov Orest and Zakhozhai Pavel, as well as a Chinese language teacher A. Podmarev, French language lecturer L. Shapovalova, head of the department of theory and practice of translation, Associate Professor S. Perova, Spanish language teacher V. Shkarlet, on the “speaking street” there was a line of adults and kids wishing to get an inscription on their hand in a foreign language, especially in Chinese.

Students were active: they were sharing positive impressions and experience in learning foreign languages, participating in scientific conferences, student holidays at the faculty.

Lecturers motivated future applicants to enter the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” and talked about the advantages and prospects of studying at the foreign languages department, which has established itself as one of the best in the territory of modern Ukraine.
