Day of Knowledge at the FFL and the ICA

According to traditions, the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Institute of Culture and Arts celebrated the Day of Knowledge solemnly and brightly. 

The first-year students’ acquaintance with the friendly family of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” began with a curator hour, where each group of students was able to meet with their curators and groupmates, get to know each other, discuss pressing issues, learn more about the educational process at our University.

After the curator hour, students and teachers were invited to a gala concert. The Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Romano-Germanic Philology Svitlana Shekhavtsova and the Director of the Institute of Culture and Arts, Candidate of Philosophy, Associate Professor of the Department of Musical Arts and Choreography Nelia Nazarenko addressed all students with a welcoming speech and wished freshmen strength, academic excellence and vibrant student life.

The administration of the Faculty, Institute and Department heads also congratulated the students on the holiday and wished them as many achievements and victories as possible.
Students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and the Institute of Culture and Arts prepared vivid and stunning performances including songs, dances, playing musical instruments and video presentations of our University.

Traditionally, the concert ended with the anthem of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

Once again, we congratulate all students and teachers on the start of the new academic year and wish them all creative inspiration, determination and a successful academic year!
