I appeal on this festive day primarily to our freshmen. Today you have got the opportunity to study at one of the best and most prestigious educational institutions in eastern Ukraine – Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. I urge you to be proud of entering a united Shevchenko’s family, to protect and increase its traditions and achievements.

I wish all the teachers and students of the University great inspiration on the path to conquering scientific peaks, perseverance and patience, wisdom and understanding, harmony and peace! I am convinced that your professionalism, abilities, talents, high patriotic feelings will become the key to new outstanding successes that Ukraine will be proud of.
