Happy Independence Day of Ukraine

Dear friends, colleagues, staff and students! I sincerely congratulate you on the Independence Day of Ukraine!

Today we celebrate the 28th anniversary of Independence. During this time, the innermost hope of our people has come true – we have become full owners in our generous Ukrainian land.

Since then, a lot of tests have fallen to the share of free Ukrainians. But even the difficult situation in which our country found itself did not shake the faith of its citizens that Ukraine will pass with dignity all the trials during its path.

I appeal to our youth, who have proved their desire to live in the free country, and confirmed their indifference to the fate of Ukraine. Thanks to your energy, patriotism, academic achievements, our state becomes a part of a large European family.

I can say with confidence that the great successes of each and every state consist of the small successes of its citizens. Therefore, on this day I especially want to wish each of us strength and perseverance for the benefit of the development of our beautiful and unique Motherland!

I wish you all peace, family comfort and faith in the happy future of Ukrainian independence!
