Dear teachers, staff and students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University! I sincerely congratulate you on Independence Day of Ukraine!

Independence Day is not just a holiday. It is a symbol of the indivisibility of our lands, especially during the test of unity and collegiality.

Over 28 years of independence, many fundamental transformations have taken place in our native country, but the main achievement was the formation of a new freedom-loving and patriotic generation of Ukrainians. Today, to a large extent, we have taken upon ourselves the burden of responsibility for the fate of our country, its state independence and protection from the encroachments of the invader. And we can be proud that we are personally involved in the upbringing of this remarkable generation, which will have to turn Ukraine into a successful European state.

I congratulate everyone on this great national holiday and with all my heart I wish you peace, kindness, happiness, generous fate, prosperity, good health, strength and inspiration. May the 28th year of Independence of Ukraine bring us peace, stability and prosperity!
