The entrance examinations for the magistracy

On July 27, 2019, the entrance examinations for the magistracy began at the Faculty of Foreign Languages both in Poltava and Starobilsk.

The following specializations have been announced this year: 035 Philology (translation included). Language and Literature (English, German, French, Chinese, Russian), 035 Philology. Translation (English), 014 Secondary Education. Language and Literature (English, German, French, Chinese, Russian).

 Cross-entrance has been successfully applied in European educational practice. Its essence is that students with an educational qualification may apply to any field of study on the basis of a specialist’s or master’s degree, even if it is different from the direction in which they have already completed their education.

Advantages of entering the magistracy are the possibility of distance learning; the master’s diploma is a qualification document for obtaining the academic title, the level of a foreign language – not lower than B2, the presence of full-time tuition and postal tuition.
