Constitution Day of Ukraine

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University joined the district events on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine.

There are dates that strengthen the nation, express the spirit of the people, symbolize its glorious past, present and future. Among them is the Constitution Day of Ukraine – a holiday of freedom and peace based on law and justice.

On June 27, in Starobilsk, on the central square near the monument to Taras Shevchenko, the administration and staff of the Regional State Administration, the District Council, representatives of the labor collectives of institutions and organizations, public, students attended the festivities on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine. Teachers and students of our university also joined them.

The Chairman of the Starobilsk District Council Mykola O. Kulachka addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.

The festive atmosphere of the event was supplemented by dance performances by the choreographic groups of the city and sincere, heartfelt songs of vocalists.

At the end of the event flowers were laid at the monument to Great Kobzar.
