Ukrainian Artistic Gymnastics Championships

Ukrainian Artistic Gymnastics Championships took place in the city of Kropyvnytskyi.
Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports took part in these competitions. Competitions are qualifying for participation in the World Championship to be held in autumn.
The best result was shown by Yevhen Yudenkov (4th year) having received 4 gold medals: in free exercises, in exercises on pommel horse, rings and crossbar; one bronze medal in exercises on parallel bars and a silver medal in the sum of all-around, losing only a few hundredths of points to Peter Pakhniuk, a gymnast from Kyiv.
Our other athlete Eduard Yermakov (4th year) took the third place in the sum of all-round, and received a gold medal in the exercises on the parallel bars.
Bohdan Shkuratskyi received a silver medal in exercises on pommel horse, and a bronze medal in ring exercises.
Artem Kravchenko received a bronze medal in the crossbar exercises, and Oleksii Robu received a bronze medal in the vault.
In general, student-athletes won 12 medals among them: 5 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals.
Congratulations to our gymnasts on the successful performance and their coach, Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine, Honored Coach of Ukraine Oleksandr Gorin – graduate of our institution of higher education.
