Thesis on Historical Sciences for Candidate’s Degree were Defended

Academic Council K 29.053.06 has been working at the university since 2011. A lot of thesis on historical sciences had been defended for this period.

A regular session of Academic Council was conducted on June 27, 2015. Roman Mykhailovych Rusin presented his work “Historiography of Political Repressions of Inter-War Period in Ukraine (20s – 30s of XX century)” for consideration to academic community. Leading scientists of the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences, who constituted the major portion of Council, expressed positive expressions regarding thesis level. One of the main criterions of classical national universities is a sufficient number of specialized academic councils on candidate’s and doctor’s thesis defense. Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University satisfies mentioned requirements and worthily competes with leading Ukrainian universities.

So, students of the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences have a possibility not only to obtain bachelor’s or master’s degree but to defend thesis within the walls of native Alma Mater and to enter doctoral training.
