Course on Media Literacy

On June 6-7, a course on media literacy was held in Kyiv.
The training was supported by Course on Media Literacy, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the US Embassy in Ukraine, the British Embassy in Ukraine and IREX. Over the course of two days, HEIs teachers from different regions of Ukraine were introduced to the peculiarities of the course, which will last 5 weeks and will include online work and meetings with the facilitators. Oksana Husakova, a teacher of the Department of Oriental Languages at LTSNU, became the coach of a pilot project in the city of Starobilsk.
“The reception of the questionnaires will last until June 21, and from July 1, classes will begin in the information and communication center Window on America,” the teacher said.

An important condition for participation is the level of knowledge of English not lower than B1. After completing the course, all participants will receive a certificate. The official work of the platform to work with the course will begin in September.
