University Administration Meeting

Today the regular meeting of the University Administration was held.

The following issues were on the agenda:

• About the progress of the admission campaign in 2019;
• About the implementation of the decisions of the University Administration in the academic year 2018 – 2019;
• About the approval of the work plan of the University Administration for the academic year 2019 – 2020.

Having heard and discussed the report of the executive secretary of the admission commission Ya. I. Yurkiv, the University Administration notes that the university staff worked to organize the admission of applicants in 2019 for various forms of education and educational degrees in accordance with the Conditions for Admission to Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine in 2019, approved by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated October 11, 2018.

The Admission Committee, the Marketing Department, faculties, educational and scientific institutes carry out the appropriate measures for the organization of the advertising and vocational guidance campaign: the applicant’s days are held at the university and in all its structural subdivisions; visits to all districts and cities of Luhansk and Donetsk regions were carried out in accordance with the approved schedule; information about the university is posted on the main site, social pages of educational and scientific institutes and faculties; University advertising is constantly carried out through mass media, targeted distribution of advertising and campaign materials, etc.

At the meeting, the administration decided to provide admission of applicants for all forms of education and educational degrees in accordance with the “Rules of Admission to Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in 2019”, to provide information support for the admission campaign 2019 and to place promotional materials on the official website of the University in social networks, to provide technical support for the work of the admission committee.

Having heard and discussed the report of the Scientific Secretary N. N. Karlova on the implementation of the decisions of the University Administration in the academic year 2018 – 2019, the University Administration noted that according to the reports of the structural subdivisions, most of the decisions were fully implemented, some were partially implemented through objective difficulties and circumstances.

Having reviewed the work plan of the University Administration for the academic year 2019 – 2020, the University Administration decided to accept it as a basis with the subsequent adjustment.
