Ecological development of our city

A memorandum on joint activities for the environmental improvement was signed in the city of Starobilsk.

On the initiative of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Vitalii Kurylo, the Executive Committee of the Starobilsk City Council, represented by Yana Litvinova, and the Rector of the Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Serhii Savchenko signed a three-way memorandum on joint activities on environmental improvement of the territory of Starobilsk city.

Within the framework of the signed memorandum, the active participants will be teachers and students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of our University, who have already joined the discussion and development of projects for the reconstruction of the green zones of Starobilsk near the hydropathic unit and on the Vatutin quarter.

The main purpose of the implementation of the memorandum will be increasing the environmental attractiveness of the city of Starobilsk thanks to the restoration of existing and creation of new green areas using the latest trends in landscape design. All this will contribute to the improvement of recreational conditions, both for the community of the city and for the development of green tourism in the region.
