Teachers’ Training in Odesa

Representatives of LTSNU participated in a meeting on the project, which was held in the K.D. Ushynsky South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University (the city of Odesa).
As part of the international project “Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education on the Use of Innovative Teaching Tools” (MoPED) – №586098-ЕРР-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP training of teachers was held at the K.D. Ushynsky South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University from May 13 to 16, 2019. The representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University were:

- Nataliia Matsai, Docent;
- Olha Hubska;
- Yaroslava Yurkov, Docent
- Mykola Semenov, Docent;
- Galina Kozub, Docent;
- Volodymyr Matiievskyi.
Also, there were representatives of the Vasyl Stefanik Carpathian National University, K.D. Ushynsky South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University, Boris Grinchenko Kyiv University, Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky Hryhoriy Skovoroda State Pedagogical University, Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, University of Cyprus (Aglantzia, Cyprus).
The main topics of the training: Hands-on Inquiry Activities; Go-Lab Ecosystem and inquiry learning; inquiry cycle and Go-Lab inquiry apps; Transformation of the Hands-on Inquiry Activities into ILSs; Collaboration and Cooperation with Go-Lab; What is Critical Thinking and strategies for Teaching Critical Thinking Skills; The use of the Blackboard Platform during the Field Placement Program of Student Teachers; The use of Videos During the Field Placement Program of Student Teachers.
The result of fruitful work of all project participants was the delivery of certificates on the passage of training studios. The teachers of our University will be able to use this experience in preparing teachers for work in the New Ukrainian School.
