Golden medal again!

A student of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports won golden medal at the International Greco-Roman, Freestyle and Female Wrestling Tournament.
The 23rd International Greco-Roman, Freestyle and Female Tournament dedicated to outstanding Ukrainian wrestlers and coaches was held in the Kyiv Palace of Sports.
For more than twenty years, the Kyiv Tournament has been collecting all the stars of modern wrestling on its rugs. Participants note the excellent organization of the tournament, so more than 400 athletes from 20 countries around the world, such as the USA, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Malta, Lithuania, Germany, Bulgaria, Poland, Armenia, Angola, Puerto Rico, etc., were interested in participating.
The national team of Ukraine successfully performed with confidence, winning first place and receiving 23 medals of various denominations. Artur Politaiev, the fourth-year student majoring in “Physical Education” of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports, won the gold medal in the 67 kg weight category out of 16 participants.
Congratulations to our student and his coach, also a master student, specialty “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports” on the perfect results!
The next competition for Artur will be the European Games and the World Championships, where he will be able to get a ticket to participate in the Tokyo Olympics – 2020.
