On May 14, traditional student scientific readings as part of the annual University Days of Science were held by the Department of Ukrainian Literature.
The Dean of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications Tetiana Pinchuk addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. She told about the scientific achievements of future philologists, their participation in conferences and competitions of scientific and creative works, and also noted that the University Days of Science are the first step in successful research activities.
Postgraduate students and master students of the Department of Ukrainian Literature and students majoring in “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature”, “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and Literature (English)” took part in the work of three sections:“ Tendencies of the modern literary process”, “Modern interpretation of works of Ukrainian writers of the XIX-XX centuries”, “Literary works in school study”.
The research by Natalia Tokar, Alina Siryk, Vladislav Radchenko were devoted to the work of modern Ukrainian writers. Anastasia Yanovych made a theoretical report, offering an overview of the concepts of intertext in Ukrainian and foreign literature. Halyna Bratchenko and Valeria Fedoruk talked about certain aspects of the work of Grigor Tiutiunnyk and Lina Kostenko. Iryna Sukharevska turned to the literary classics, analyzing the tales of Marko Vovchok.
During the meeting of the section “Literary works in school study”, third-year philology students presented the results of work on course projects on Ukrainian literature and its teaching methods.
The speeches of Anastasia Horban, Yelyzaveta Podkuiko, Yelyzaveta Ponomarenko, Yekateryna Suharevska, Kristina Yakovleva, Yulia Dybka and other students provoked a lively discussion.
Undoubtedly, the results of the presented research will be used in the future professional activity of future teachers.
