On April 23, women’s combined teams of the University, colleges, Regional Center for Vocational Education and Lysychansk Pedagogical College determined the winner in volleyball in the Sport Festival program.

Unfortunately, once again the team of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports from Kreminna city did not appear on the competition.

Good results were shown by the university women’s team consisting of Tetiana Kulynchenko and Polina Burian (FNS), Iryna Pliasulia and Darina Zadorozhna (ER IEB), Yelyzaveta Liashchenko (ER ICSTT) and Yulia Bondar (ER IHIRSPS). The girls did not give any chances to their rivals. In the first match, they outplayed the combined team of colleges and the RCVE with a score of 2:0. In the second match they also won with a score of 2:0: And this was the first place.

A sharp struggle was for the second place. Lysychansk Pedagogical College won in a tense confrontation. The first game was won by Lysychansk players with a score of 25:19. The second party kept in suspense both players and fans. The initiative was owned by one or the other team, and only at the end was Lysychansk Pedagogical College was more lucky, having won with a score of 26:24. The victory in the match with a score of 2:0 took them to second place. The best player of the tournament was Polina Burian.
