Events devoted to the Chernobyl disaster

In connection with the 33rd anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, a number of events were held at the College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
33 years ago, on April 26, 1986, the world spread through the news about the terrible accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, caused by an incurable wound to the Ukrainian people. Years pass, but the black milestone of Chernobyl and today casts its shadow on the fate of millions of Ukrainians.
In connection with the 33rd anniversary of the Chernobyl catastrophe, the College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University held a number of events: an excursion to the Luhansk Regional Museum of Local Lore on the theme “Chernobyl tastes bitter through the years …”; presentation of photos of participants in the liquidation of the accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant; laying flowers at a memorial sign in honor of the liquidators of the Chernobyl accident; watching a documentary film about Chernobyl; drawing contest “Chernobyl Through the Eyes of Students.”
