Academic Council Meeting

On April 26, a scheduled meeting of the Academic Council was held.

Two issues were discussed on the agenda:

• about the status and prospects of working with foreign students at the University;
• about training of specialists to work on the implementation of the “Concept of the New Ukrainian school”.

Having heard and discussed the report of the Deputy Head of the International Relations Department M.A. Shehavtsova, Academic Council noted that the University is working with foreign students. Today, 179 foreign students study at the University. 143 foreigners study at the Faculty of Foreign Languages. 36 students from Belarus, China, the USA, Nigeria, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and the Russian Federation study in other departments. In the academic year 2018 – 2019, 68 full-time students and 11 part-time students were enrolled for the first year. Teachers create quality conditions for training foreign students. The educational and methodological complexes adapted for foreign students in all disciplines of their chosen specialties were prepared.
