Pedagogical readings

Traditional student’s pedagogical readings, which are held as part of the Days of Science, were held at the Department of Preschool and Primary Education.

The readings were devoted to the pedagogical heritage of V. A. Sukhomlynskyi in a dialogue with the modern ideas of the New Ukrainian School. This year, students not only explored the inexhaustible ideas of a famous teacher, but also tried to analyze them in terms of innovations that are implemented in the modern educational space. So, future specialists discussed the problems of pedagogy of partnership, child-centrism, features of the formative assessment of younger schoolchildren through the prism of the ideas of V. A. Sukhomlynskyi.

One of the most pressing problems discussed by students was the problem of reading books by modern children. Future experts discussed, exchanged thoughts, recalled the most interesting books of childhood, and even presented the results of mini-studies.

Upon completion, the moderator of the event, Ph.D., Associate Professor N. I. Cherviakova suggested that students create a lapbook for fixing the main ideas, theses and quotes of V. A. Sukhomlynskyi, which have not lost their relevance today.
