All-Ukrainian Student Conference

On April 17, the X All-Ukrainian Student Scientific Practical Conference “Language and Literature in the Projection of Various Scientific Paradigms” was held at LTSNU (Starobilsk city).

The conference was organized by the Department of Philological Disciplines of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology. 109 students and master students represented various higher educational institutions of Ukraine, including Berdiansk State Pedagogical University, Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University named after Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi, Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University named after Alexander Dovzhenko, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University, Zaporizhzhia National University.

The event was greeted by the Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Olena Karaman, who spoke about the history of the conference, which has traditionally been held for 10 years. Conference participants were also welcomed by D. V. Uzhchenko, L. Ts. Vakhovsky, Vice-Rectors for Scientific and Educational Work, N. Mordtseva, head of the Department of Philological Disciplines, wished the participants successful work.

A lot of students’ reports were represented at the plenary meeting. Sectional meetings of the conference were held in the following areas: “Functioning of Linguistic Units in Discourse”, “Artistic Problems of Literary Works for Children and Youth”, “Formation of Linguistic Personality in Different Types of Educational Institutions”, “Actual Problems of Preschool Language Education”.

The topics of the reports showed the versatility, depth and relevance of the author’s research of students and master students. In the process of exchanging opinions, researchers had the opportunity to demonstrate familiarity with current trends in scientific philological and pedagogical thought, take part in discussions and prove their beliefs. The activities of students and master students at the conference contributed to the integration of their educational and scientific work, the involvement of young researchers from various universities, the translation of national and cultural values ​​into the scientific and educational space.

According to the conference materials will be published a collection of scientific articles.

For some speakers, this event was the first step in science, for others – the opportunity to share the results of scientific research.

We hope that the traditional All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Language and Literature in the Projection of Various Scientific Paradigms” will be held in the future, encouraging young researchers to make new scientific achievements.
