Chamber Music Concert

Students majoring in “Musical Art” took part in a Chamber Music Concert.  

For the fourth year in a row, students majoring in “Musical Art” meet with their fans in the beautiful and cozy hall of the arts department of the Poltava Regional Scientific Library named after I. Kotliarevskyi.

And this time the participants of the Chamber Music Concert – vocalists and instrumentalists, as always, gave the audience a lot of positive impressions and emotions. The repertoire of the concert consisted of works of various genres and styles.

The vocal works by I. Shamo, M. Zherbin, I. Dunaevsky and others were performed by Anna Karnaukhova and Serhii Spysiuk – students majoring in “Academic Singing”. They participate in many creative events of the Institute, city and region.

Instrumental students Olena Steblii, Oksana Kyrylova, Viktoria Kurdaeva, Iryna Kotova, Natalia Terekhova and Lidiia Shkarovska performed solo and as a part of the chamber ensemble the works of world classical music composers Rachmaninov, E. Grieg, A. Dvorak, A. Piazzolla, N. Metner.

The pearl of the concert was the performance of the violinist Dmytro Goloborodov (teacher – Assistant Professor of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography, People’s Artist of Ukraine Yurii Kyrychenko). The performance of the well-known work by J. Massenet “Meditation” captivated the audience with emotionality, grace and touching sounding of the instrument.

We wish our young performers new achievements in the profession, creative inspiration, grateful listeners and many wonderful performances.
