Final Exams at the Department of Design

Days at the Department of Trade, Customer Services and Tourism turned out to be very busy.

Students, who have chosen the profession of graphic designer and interior designer, were passing bachelor’s degree state examinations. Specialty specificity gave exams a special colour. The artworks that were presented by the graduates as creative tasks, created a kind of art gallery. Thus, future designers showed themselves as creative and imaginative artists.

Defense of graduation and master’s works of students of these specialties became a real celebration. Specialists and master’s students presented their scientific works to the State Commission. Most of these works were notable for their originality and serious scientific approach. Especially, it was nice to see the variety of topics in design projects, from the design of interiors in national style to creating author books, portfolios, author fonts, and so on. As a result of graduation and master’s works defense, the Chairman of the State Examination Commission, Candidate of Architecture, Docent of Department of Design of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University Oleksandr Anatoliiovych Kryzhanivskyi gave a suggestion to eight department graduates to continue education at postgraduate courses.
