Gifted Youth

The traditional annual All-Ukrainian Festival-Contest “Gifted Youth” was held in the cities of Severodonetsk and Poltava.
The Institute of Culture and Arts has been holding the Festival-Contest among talented young people in the field of arts for 21 years in a row.
Over the years of its existence, its popularity among pupils and students has significantly increased, the geography of its participants has expanded, which allowed it to acquire the prestigious status of All-Ukrainian.
The importance of such events is difficult to overestimate, because they have significant educational potential, contribute to the development of creative abilities of the younger generation, increase interest in self-improvement and familiarization with the achievements of world and national cultures.
This year the number of participants in all areas and nominations of the All-Ukrainian Festival-Contest amounted to more than 800 people from 7 regions of Ukraine including Luhansk, Donetsk, Poltava, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Sumy. Competitive tests were held in two cities – Severodonetsk and Poltava.
The contestants competed in the following nominations: “Musical Art”, “Choreography”, “Visual Arts”, “Cinema and TV Art”.
The Grand Prix of the competition was won by the student mixed choir of the Severodonetsk College of Culture and Arts named after Serhii Prokofiev in the nomination “Musical Art: Ensembles, Orchestras, Choirs”; a graduate of the Poltava Musical College. N.V. Lysenko Oleksandr Kovalchuk in the nomination “Musical Art: Piano”; a student of the State Specialized Art Boarding School “Collegium of Arts in Opishnia” named after Vasyl Krichevskyi Artem Grypych in the nomination “Decorative and Applied Arst”.
According to the ICA
