The departments developed educational and methodological support for academic disciplines, in particular, work programs that are annually updated and approved at the department meetings, teaching aids, guidelines, tasks for individual and independent work; the courses on the university educational portal are updated; in parallel with in-patient training, teachers conduct lectures online.
Since February 2019, the Department of Information Technologies and Systems has been introducing STARTUP with second-year students majoring in Software Engineering and Computer Engineering. At the same time, public information on the educational and methodological support of academic disciplines on the university website needs to be updated; not all courses are updated on time, teachers do not use active teaching methods.

At the same time, the topics and content of educational activities need to be modernized: the work on shaping the corporate culture of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University needs to be strengthened on the traditions and history of the university, nurturing students’ pride in their involvement in the historical and cultural heritage of the University.
Among other things, a scientific work was recommended for awarding the Prize of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to young scientists, scientific and educational-methodical works were recommended for publication, the topic of the thesis for the degree of Doctor of Science was approved.
