“Fair of Professions”

On March 21, the career guidance event “Fair of Professions” took place in the Starobilsk Secondary School No. 4.

Its goal was to introduce pupils to universities. The school graduates were visited by representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Luhansk National Agrarian University, Luhansk National University of Internal Affairs named after E. A. Didorenko, and Starobilsk Medical College. They provided information on specialties, features of training and structural subdivisions of educational institutions. The information sheets were distributed among the schoolchildren and the videos about student life were shown.

Olga Kobyliatska, the school director, noted: “The fair of professions is one of those events that takes place as part of parent days. On these days, parents with their children can attend classes, conduct trainings for them, and concludes with an exhibition and a welcoming concert. I think that such events will become traditional and will probably be held more than once.”
