“Festival of Sports”

On March 19, the futsal competitions started the “Festival of Sports”.

“Festival of Sports” is a kind of sports session for students, which is very important for students majoring in Physical Education.  This year were added competitions in futsal among women’s teams and team table tennis competitions to the program. Unfortunately, the teams of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports didn’t appear on the first exam. This is an alarming signal when students who associate their future life with physical education do not appear for competitions that sum up the sports academic year.

Numerous fans who supported the men’s and women’s teams that day saw an interesting futsal game. Emotions at the site went off scale.

The first to enter the playing ground were teams of colleges and the Regional Center for Vocational Education (RCVE) against the teams of students of faculties and institutes. It was a principal match. Both teams aimed only at winning. This match kept everyone in suspense until the final whistle and ended in a draw 3:3.

In the second match, Lysychansk Pedagogical College (LPC) met against the combined team of the colleges and the RCVE. The winner was the combined team of colleges and the RCVE, which won with a score of 5:1.

In the third match, the team “Univer” played against the team of the LPC. The team “Univer” lost with a score of 3:2. This defeat lowers the team to the third place, the Lysychansk Pedagogical College became the second, and the first place goes to the colleges and the RCVE.

Mykhailo Shamriha became the best scorer with 4 goals, and Maksym Vinokurov from the Lysychansk Pedagogical College was recognized as the best player.
