Training for experts

Today, the University hosted a training for experts on the quality assurance of higher education.

The training took place at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University with the support of the Institute of Higher Education of the NAPS of Ukraine. The event began with the welcoming speech of the University Rector Serhii Savchenko, who stressed the importance of this meeting. The coach was the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Affairs of our University Dmytro Uzhchenko.

The purpose of the training is to train experts for accreditation in the framework of the projects “Forming a Network of Experts on Quality Assurance of Higher Education” and “New Accreditation System as a Means of Quality Assurance and Overcoming Corruption in Higher Education”. On this day, representatives of Luhansk State Medical University, Luhansk State University of Internal Affairs named after E.A. Didorenko, Luhansk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University visited our University. 

The training took place in four sessions. The first topic was the modern understanding of the quality of education, the second – the system of quality assurance in HE, the third – the ideology and tools for evaluating the CER. During the fourth session the participants discussed the topic of ethics of an expert. At the end of the meeting, each training participant had the right to ask questions.

Conducting such events is very important for teachers, because they provide an opportunity to become more closely acquainted with the modern trends in the development of higher education, the system for ensuring its quality in the European space.
