Express course

On March 12-14, the students of the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences took part in an express course on human rights.
The event was held with the support of the Council of Europe. The training participants learned about the presentation of the project “The Council of Europe and the problems of forced displacement” and “the ECHR, the connection with the national system, the condition of the justification of interfering with guaranteed rights and freedoms”.
In various forms of work (interactive lectures, practical exercises, a survey), students consolidated their skills of interaction with authorities in the field of human rights.
Students gained experience of interacting with public organizations and in promoting the protection of human rights which is one of the tasks of their future professional activities.
The Directorate of the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences and the University Administration plans to further promote cooperation with the Council of Europe and public organizations.
