“Round Table”

“Round table” of scientists and the public on the theme “The origin and formation of the ideas of the national and liberation movement in Ukraine in the second half of the XIX century” was held.

The employees of the Department of Commodity Research, Commercial Business and Goods Expertise and applicants for higher education majoring in “Commodity Research and Expertise in Customs” of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the “Round table” held on March 13, 2019 at the Poltava University of Economics and Trade. It was dedicated to the idea of ​​the national liberation movement of Ukraine. The moderator was Nina Kirpotina, the chairman of the local history and historical club at the Poltava City Library, a member of the coordinating council of the public union “League PO “Society of Poltava Region”.

The “Round table” was attended by historians, local historians of Poltava and Ukraine. The topics of the speeches covered the historical period of the second half of the XIX – beginning of the XX centuries and were devoted to outstanding figures in the history of Ukraine, who continued to develop the idea of ​​Ukrainian statehood.
