Ceremonial Plenary Session of National Union of Ukrainian Ethnographers

Deputy Director of IHIRSPS V. Bader took part in the plenary session of National Union of Ukrainian Ethnographers.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University has always been research center in such field of historical science as a local history. The university issued a number of scientific works on the history of Donbas, Luhanshchyna and higher education development in region. Our scientists participated in writing such basic works as “History of Cities and Villages of Ukrainian SSR” and “History of Donbas Workers”. So, it is not surprising that this is our university where the regional branch of the National Union of Ukrainian Ethnographers is located in.

National Union of Ukrainian Ethnographers is a creative association like the Union of Writers or Journalists of Ukraine.  It has been functioning for 90 years and once a year conducts a plenary session to solve important questions.

This time plenary session was held at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The event was attended by correspondents and academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, doctors of sciences and professors from all regions of our country.

LNU leadership in scientific and educational field is proved by the fact that this is our educational establishment whose delegate was at such respectable forum.
