University Day at the IPMIT

On February 28, students and teachers of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies gathered together to celebrate the University Day.

The meeting was led by a first-year student majoring in Software Engineering Andrii Koniakhin and a second-year student majoring in Information, Library and Archival Affairs Alina Kalashnikova. The event began with the national anthem of Ukraine and the welcoming speech of the Director of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies Hennadii Mohylnyi.

Then the presenters, based on the multimedia presentation “The History of Our University”, prepared by 4th year students majoring in Information, Library and Archival Affairs Yulia Velichko and Viktoria Kononenko, familiarized the students and teachers with the highlights of the university life.

After the presentation, a quiz “History of Luhansk Taras Shevhenko National University” was held, the winners of which received sweet prizes.

During the event, students were awarded for their active participation in the life of the institute and for academic achievements. The meeting ended with the performance of second-year students Mykola Kiselev and Volodymyr Oleksiinko. The Directorate, staff and students of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies congratulate everyone on the University Day and wish everyone success in their academic life!
