Career guidance work at the ER IPES

According to the plan for career guidance work at the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports, a number of events were held with visits to secondary schools in the city of Kreminna and the Kreminsky district.

Teachers of the departments told the school graduates about the conditions and features of admission, about the specialties that can be obtained after graduating from our University.

Special attention in career guidance work was paid to the Luhansk Regional High School of Physical Education and Sports, which is located in the city of Kreminna. This year, more than 20 highly qualified athletes graduate from high school and apply for entry to our University. Thus, teachers worked with them concerning preparation for the external independent evaluation and creative tests at the University.

Also, a trip to the cities of the Donetsk region took place, where they visited the Lymansky Medical College, Konstantinovsky Medical College, the Medical College in Bakhmut, whose graduates have the opportunity to enter the second course, specialty “Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy”. Oleg Vinogradov, head of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Human Health, spoke about the conditions of admission to this specialty.

Serhii Shinkarev, Associate Professor of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports and Oleksandr Brusak, Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work, visited the Serhii Bubka Donetsk Higher School of Physical Culture and Sports, which is located in the city of Bakhmut. Graduates of this educational institution, having received a diploma of junior specialist, have the opportunity to enter our University for the third year to the specialties “Secondary Education. Physical Culture” and “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports”.
