Honoring the memory of the participants of the Maidan events

On February 20, freshmen of the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences honored the memory of all fallen soldiers and activists on the Maidan events.

On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the bloodiest day of the Revolution of Dignity, which remained in the history of modern Ukraine as “black Thursday”, the students watched the film “Сode Name “Banderas”. The film tells about the everyday life of the counterintelligence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​the ATO. The film makes you think about the dramatic events of modern Ukraine related to the Euromaidan of 2013-2014, the beginning of the “hybrid war” of Russia against Ukraine in the Donbas and the formation of the modern Ukrainian army.

After watching the film, students discussed its main ideas. Such events are an integral part of patriotic education and respect for the native history, which is especially important for the first-year students.
