“Glory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes”

Students of the institute of Economy and Business visited the book exhibition “Glory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes” prepared by the staff of the Library of LTSNU.

The second-fourth year students of the Educational and Research Institute of Economy and Business visited the Luhansk regional universal scientific library, where they took part in the event “We are more than a hundred”. There was a cognitive discussion platform for the Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes. They reviewed the exhibition materials “Not dried blood” and “Will in a trident.” During the event, the excerpts from the film about the beginning of the tragic events and the beating of students in 2014 were revised. After that, there was a discussion about the active life position of students both in 2014 and today. It was interesting to listen to a member of the Maidan, an activist, a musician, an employee of the Luhansk Regional Universal Scientific Library Serhii Letuchyi. The issues of the influence of youth organizations on the future of the country were discussed.

Also, students of the IEB visited the book exhibition “Glory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes” prepared by the staff of the library of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. The first-year students who were schoolchildren in 2014 and are aware of the tragic events from the stories of teachers, parents and videos from the Internet space paid special attention to the books.

Each of the participants of the cognitive discussion forum could express their opinion. This events on Maidan shook the whole world, no one remained indifferent. People show their feelings concerning these events through pictures, poems, songs, books. We thank to the organizers for the wonderful opportunity to feel the youth that we live in a democratic country.
