On February 9, a 2nd year student majoring in Political Science Yevgenia Yermochenko took part in the All-Ukrainian Public Forum “Open Dialogue”.
An important condition for the formation of personal and professional skills of future political scientists studying at the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences is participation in outstanding events in the political life of Ukraine. The election campaign of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has officially begun at the All-Ukrainian Public Forum “Open Dialogue”.
“For Putin, the elections of 2019 will be like a general battle for Ukraine, which he is manically seeking to bring back. Russia is trying to intervene in our elections as well as in elections in the USA, France, Germany, as well as in referendums in the UK and the Netherlands. Now they are planning to use these technologies in Ukraine,” – Poroshenko said.
The forum was held in the Palace of Sports (Kyiv) and gathered more than 10,000 experts, public figures and military men from all over the country. Among the urgent issues that were discussed during his work was a public discussion of the basic principles of the election program of the candidate for the presidency of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“We will attack in five areas: the agro-industrial complex, the IT industry, mechanical engineering-industrialization, logistics, tourism. Here we will attract billions of dollars of investment, their implementation will create hundreds of thousands of small businesses. There will be millions of jobs with decent pay. It will reduce the level of labor migration. This program will fill the local budget,” – the President said.
The administration of the Institute of History will continue to facilitate the participation of students in such events.
