State awards and distinctions

Outstanding graduates of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences received state awards and distinctions. 

Graduates of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences are traditionally leaders in various spheres of social activity including the field of education. Even in the conditions of the forced evacuation of the leading educational institutions of the Luhansk region, the team of the ER IHIRSPS is among those who are able to organize its effective work. Recently, indisputable successes in the work of some of them were marked by high state awards.

In particular, according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 14/2019 “On awarding state awards of Ukraine on the occasion of the Unity Day of Ukraine” for significant personal contribution to state-building, strengthening national security, socio-economic, scientific, technical, cultural and educational development of the Ukrainian state, significant labor achievements, long-term conscientious work with the Order of Merit of the III degree were awarded to graduates of the institute: Rector of Lugansk Taras Shevchenko National University Serhii Viktorovych Savchenko and Chairman of the Luhansk Regional Association of the All-Ukrainian Society “Enlightenment” named after Taras Shevchenko Volodymyr Fedorovych Semystiaha.

Also, according to this Decree, the title of “Merited Education Worker of Ukraine” was awarded to a graduate of the ER IHIRSPS, Rector of the Luhansk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education Iryna Ivanivna Tsymbal.

According to another decree of the President of Ukraine “On awarding state awards of Ukraine on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the confirmation by the All-Ukrainian referendum of the Declaration of Independence of Ukraine on December 1, 1991”, for significant personal contribution to state-building, social, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and educational development of the Ukrainian state, significant labor achievements, many years of conscientious work, the title of “Merited Master of Folk Arts of Ukraine” was received by another graduate of the “History Institute”, Teacher of the Luhansk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Education Iryna Valentynivna Mezeria.

The Chairman of the Academic Council of the University Vitalii Semenovych Kurylo, teaching staff, Directorate and students of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences sincerely congratulate our graduates on receiving high awards and titles.
