Malanka Holiday

The holiday of Malanka was celebrated in the Starobilsk Children’s and Youth Library.

Ukrainian national dishes, fortune-telling, carols, good mood and wonderful songs were waiting for the guests.

Students and staff of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Iryna Borovenska, Pavlo Ivchenko, Yulia Malko, Ivan Osipchenko, came to the holiday with the most sincere wishes. Students sang “Malanka”, and the library staff thanked them with the real Ukrainian delicacies. The dumplings with potatoes and cheese, pies, pancakes, delicious kutya, uzvar, honey cakes were on the table.

After the delicious dinner, children staged a New Year’s disco. They were so amazing that they were happy to be joined by adults.
