The celebration of Christmas and New Year’s Day
27.12.2018
The celebration of Christmas and New Year’s Day at the Faculty of Foreign Languages
At the beginning of the event, the Head of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology, Olena Mykolaivna Byndas, congratulated the students on the upcoming holidays and wished them happiness, health and success in their studies. The deputy dean for social and humanitarian work of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Morozova Marharyta Viacheslavivna joined the congratulations.
Then the magic began: the students lured the audience into a real fairy tale, where two boys cut off Santa’s beard, thereby depriving everyone of New Year’s mood. But with the help of assistants, elves, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, who traveled to different countries, where students presented their interesting performances, the magic and extravaganza of the New Year returned, filling the hall of the university with bright colors and loud laughter. Students sang songs and danced, enjoying the incredible friendly atmosphere.
Philology students have enough imagination for many holidays, but so that it is so fun and interesting everywhere, and from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, we wish you all the best in 2019!
Happy New Year!
